What’s new.

Everything we have shipped since 2025, newest first — features, fixes and the unglamorous work underneath. We build this platform continuously rather than in annual releases, and this is the receipt.

Latest · 15 Sep 2026 Run your business from your phone

2026

  1. Feature

Run your business from your phone

Setting up an offer no longer means sitting at a desktop. A new Manage area in the staff app holds your offers, unlock journeys, business page and photos, locations and opening hours, menus and links, and the times customers can book a table. Offers are built in four short steps with a live preview of the card a customer will actually see, and every offer type the dashboard supports is available. Offer photos are placed against that same card, so you can drag the food clear of the headline before you save rather than discovering the crop afterwards. Only business admins see any of it, and anyone working for more than one business can switch between them from their profile; staff keep the scanning app they already know, unchanged.

  2. Feature

    Minimum spend on offers

A buy-one-get-one or free-item offer can now carry a minimum spend, and so can the plain visits on an unlock journey. Customers see it before they show a code: the step they are standing on reads "Spend £20+", and the same figure appears on free-item and BOGO cards. In the staff app, a scan that needs a bill total stays on the keypad with the figure it is waiting for, rather than letting staff reach Confirm and bounce off an error.

  3. Fix

    Explore map and logo fixes

On iPhone, tapping anywhere on the Explore map used to open the nearest business, because taps were matched against a radius of several kilometres. A tap now has to land on the business icon itself. Business logos also render correctly again on home cards and business pages.

  4. UI Update

Unlock journeys redrawn as a trail

A customer's unlock journey is now a winding trail rather than a list. Plain visits sit as beads along the path and each reward swings out as a round photo medallion, so the next thing worth earning is obvious at a glance. Tapping a reward opens a sheet with its photo, current status and terms, and the QR code can be shown from there.

  5. UI Update

Staff app rebuilt around the scan

Scanning was three taps through two screens. It is now one sheet: the bill total is asked for the moment a code is read, with a skip where the offer does not need one, then the customer, a preview and a single Confirm. Amounts and buzzer order numbers use a keypad drawn inside the app, so nothing covers what you are typing. The receipt has been cut to what matters, with points added and the new balance in the headline. Home now opens on the week's activity, and the app gained a first-run intro, release notes that never block a task, and a feedback sheet.

  6. Feature

Activity tab, featured offers and business page links

Orders and bookings now share one Activity tab, with a live dot on the icon while an order is being prepared. Featured services get their own page in the app, with a gallery, description, pricing and a single call to action that opens an enquiry form, your website or your social app. Business pages have a new links block directly under the header: book a table, order online, then menus and brochures, in that order.

  7. Platform

Update prompts and a new Explore area

Both apps now check for a newer version on launch. An optional update shows a quiet banner; a required one asks you to update before continuing, so a fix that depends on a new release reaches everyone. The Explore map also gained New Town Row as a pick alongside Lozells and Kingstanding.

  8. Feature

Order ready? You'll hear about it

When an order is ready for collection, the app now shows an unmissable "Order ready" banner with a buzzer sound from anywhere in the app, plus a one-tap "I'm on my way" button to let the business know.

  9. UI Update

    Offers got a visual refresh

Deals (percentage off, BOGO, buy-X-get-Y, free item) now display as a photo banner with the discount clearly badged on top. Home screen business cards show cleaner, more accurate offer headlines, and business pages now rotate through a business's full photo gallery instead of one static image. Several cases where discount text or points and stamp progress displayed incorrectly have also been fixed.

  10. UI Update

    Clearer transaction history for staff

Each entry in a customer's transaction history now shows a distinct icon and label for what happened — points earned, points redeemed, stamp added, discount applied, or free item given — instead of one generic look.

  11. Platform

Products retired, Android minimum version raised

The product catalogue has been retired from the platform. It overlapped with rules and rewards without adding anything either could not already do, and carrying it made every rule change more complicated than it needed to be. Separately, the minimum supported Android version has been raised so the app can rely on newer platform features.

  12. Performance

    WebP image uploads

Images uploaded to the dashboard are now converted to WebP. The same picture is typically a fraction of its previous size, so reward and rule images load noticeably faster in the customer app — particularly on a phone with a weak signal.

  13. Performance

Speed and reliability work across the platform

A sustained run of optimisation work through August. Streak progression, stamp management and boost audience selection each used to issue one database query per record they touched; all three now load in a single batch, so pages that slowed down as a business grew no longer do. Location and proximity searches filter at the database level instead of in PHP. QR code generation gained a native fallback generator that does not depend on an external image library. Business access checks and the mobile cache layer were both tightened to avoid redundant lookups.

  14. Feature

    Order Buzzer improvements

Customers can now acknowledge a ready order, which stops further notifications reaching them while leaving your staff's buzz history intact. Buzz notifications are sent at high priority with a bounded lifetime, so one that cannot be delivered while the order is still waiting expires rather than arriving late and confusing someone. Orders left untouched for two hours — or older than a day outright — now close themselves automatically.

  15. Fix

    Bookings correctness sweep

A full correctness pass over bookings. Capacity is now counted in covers rather than in bookings, so four tables of two and one of four are no longer treated as five identical reservations. Multi-site businesses no longer show one location as full because another is busy. Cancellations and no-shows both release the table immediately instead of blocking it for the rest of the evening. Booking times are handled correctly through British Summer Time. Staff notes are kept separate from the customer's own request, so annotating a booking no longer overwrites what they asked for. Every booking now starts as pending and is confirmed by a member of your team.

  16. Feature

    Order Buzzer

Counter-service businesses can now tell a customer their order is ready without calling a number across the room. Staff type the till number once during the QR scan they are already doing, then tap when the order is up — and the customer's own phone buzzes wherever they are sitting. No pagers to hand out, lose, or collect back.

  17. Feature

    Terms and conditions on boosts

Boosts can now carry their own terms and conditions, shown to customers in the app before they act on an offer. Useful where an offer needs a limit, an exclusion or a time restriction spelled out.

  18. Mobile

    Proximity notifications

The customer app can now notify people when they are near one of your locations and you have something running worth their attention. It respects quiet hours and the customer's own notification preferences, and it is built on the operating system's geofencing rather than tracking anyone continuously — so it costs very little battery.

  19. Feature

    Discount Rules

Businesses can now create discount-based rules, allowing customers to receive percentage or fixed-amount discounts as part of your loyalty program. Discounts can be applied to purchases directly from the dashboard alongside existing points and stamp rules.

  20. Feature

    Business Feature Unlockers

Introduced a feature unlock system that gives businesses the ability to enable additional platform capabilities as their needs grow. Unlock advanced rules, analytics, and integrations directly from your dashboard settings.

  21. UI Update

    App Visual Experience Refresh

We’ve refined the visual design across the app with updated layouts, improved colour consistency, and cleaner UI components to make navigating your rewards and points a more polished experience.

  22. Fix

    Image Upload Fix

Resolved issues with image uploads failing or producing incorrect results for reward and rule images. Uploads are now more reliable across all image sizes and formats.
